Oooooh ... I love Lady Sings the Blues. I have the DVD at the house and every now and then I get nostalgic and need to see Billy D ask Diana "Do you want my arm to fall off?" **sigh**
Just $1,200 to get your hair done, huh? Lawd. I thought India said that we are NOT our hair. Apparently, we are cause I'm about to drop $200 to get mine done.
Favorite Good Times episode? There are so many, but I really like the one where Florida starts going to the self-help meetings and James tells her that there are only two places for a woman: The kitchen and the bedroom, Florida! The kitchen and the bedroom!
Chele- LOL, India may not be her hair, but I'm definitely mine. I forgot about that episode of Good Times. I love the end of Lady Sings The Blues when she sings "My Man" and they cut to Billy...Lawd! They didn't have that on You Tube.
